The SUPER K9's joined Two Awesome to do some amazing weaving.

We had to cut carefully, then really concentrate on creating a pattern to create these amazing artwork of our faces!

The two class's worked so well in unity.  They were enthusiastic and persevered to complete this activity.

Congratulations SUPER K9's and Two Awesome!

ya play time ya

One day a little polar bear was playing on the snow. Then he fell in the water and he drowned in a second.  He magically came to life.

It's time to play

YA IT'S TIME TO PLAY

Oh no I fell over again someone needs to put some carpet down
so I don't slip over. Now I've got a bobo on my beautiful white fluffy
leg, from that stupid slippery ice. Why is there no signs saying watch
for the ice!

Me too

The main idea behind this story is that we communicate in different ways.
If my grandparents came to school they would do art and craft.

Tuning In to Te Marae

As part of Tuning in we are developing our knowledge of Deep Understanding 1.  We did this through looking at pictures and discussing definitions before working in Unity completing a ‘silent jigsaw’.

Deep Understanding 1: Understand that a marae is a  focal point.
This is important because a marae enables us to carry out our
traditions and customs and express our values fully and with dignity.
